Robert David: Ex-Morgan Stanley Rep Terminated Over Bond Allegations

Public records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and accessed on June 18, 2019 indicate that former Michigan-based Morgan Stanley broker Robert David, who is currently registered as an investment adviser with Advisor Services Network, was discharged from a former employer in connection to alleged rule violations and has received a pending customer complaint. He is currently not registered as a broker with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he was recently discharged from a former employer in connection to alleged rule violations and has received one pending customer complaint.

In May 2019 a customer alleged Robert David, while employed at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, recommended unsuitable corporate bond investments between March 2017 and March 2019. The customer is seeking unspecified damages in the pending complaint.

In March 2019 he was terminated from his position at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in connection to allegations he entered inaccurate customer profile information concerning “bond-related transactions” as well as for concerns that certain of these transactions “were not confirmed immediately beforehand.”
